Covenant Partners: There will be a short (5-minute!) Congregational Meeting immediately after church on Sunday, May 31st, to nominate our Nom Com for this year.
The fall retreat will be held at Lutherlyn, October 9-11, 2026
More details to come!
There will not be service on Sunday, 5/3/26, due to the Pittsburgh Marathon.
However, one of our mission partners—Open Hand Ministries—is seeking volunteers to run in the Pittsburgh Marathon and raise money for them. If 26.2 or 13.1 miles seems too daunting, did you know that you can get together with friends and make it a relay?!
Help support our Open Door runners:
Ethan Bell
Lyle Creasy
Heather List
Please let us know if you join in the fun so we can add your link too!
Families with children in Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to join us for a casual playground gathering on Sunday, April 26 at 8:30 a.m. We’ll meet at the playground next to Whole Foods to play together before church and enjoy donuts, bagels, and orange juice. We’d love to see you there!

The Open Door Presbyterian Church Equinox Sunday Brunch Church.
"Brunch Church" is back in 2026! Eating together is one of the Open Door's five practices, and last summer our "brunch church" gatherings were a great way to deepen relationships through that practice. In 2026 we plan to celebrate the seasonal equinox/solstices with a meal (so, quarterly meals together).
This Sunday, March 22nd, will be our first meal together.
Please sign up to bring a dish to share, and see you there!
Step away from the noise and into a soul-restoring weekend of contemplative silence. This Lenten retreat invites participants to rest, listen, and encounter the Divine through extended silence, communal prayer, and gentle guided practices rooted in the monastic tradition. The retreat will lean into themes from the all-church Lenten book, Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times by Katherine May (book group participation not required).
